Far from the most populous destinations in Turks & Caicos, there sits an island called South Caicos. Marked by pristine white sands, glittering blue waters, and a rugged coastline with much to explore, the location has all the makings of a one-of-a-kind oceanfront adventure.
To bring a new community of travelers to the shores of South Caicos, Salterra was born—a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa offering a unique blend of high-end amenities and endless opportunities to explore. To introduce this new name in luxury hospitality, we worked closely with Salterra team and the branding professionals at Getty’s Group to build a site worthy of the resort’s awestriking destination.
Web Design
Salterra’s brand identity, expertly crafted by our partners at The Getty’s Group, tells the story of an island rich in beauty and a luxury destination that heightens the senses. Salterra, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, inspires a sense of buoyancy—a unique sensation that travelers remember long after leaving the resort.
We designed an immersive web experience that captures this sense of buoyancy with striking visuals that float to center stage as you scroll. The animation is akin to floating atop ocean water, or waves crashing to shore. The details ebb and flow in a seamless manner that moves visitors smoothly from one page to the next.
Storytelling
As potential guests navigate through the site, they unlock the story of Salterra in bursts of sensory messaging.
Traversing each page of the site unveils new details about the resort’s stunning interiors, epicurean delights, and a near endless array of tropical adventures.
Weaving together a sensory, meditative tone of voice developed by The Getty’s Group with The Luxury Collection’s guidelines for destinations, the website balances Marriott’s best practices with thoughtful nuances—creating a story that sounds undeniably Salterra.
