The Course: A responsive website with flavor

The ideal entrée is an ensemble of complementary flavors, there are no “side dishes,” there are simply ingredients. CR’s new website is just one ingredient of the tasteful new brand. The website was inspired by the interior design team’s work on the restaurant. They provided us with samples of fabric, flooring, and other influential garnishes to aid in his design. You can see the collaborative work of both teams, everything is designed to carry the dining experience through to the digital space.

Two of our biggest focuses at Altos are user experience and user interface. Creating a menu structure that is intuitive and highlights the most important aspects of a business doesn’t just “happen”. Understanding user behavior and making sure the site will display properly for mobile, tablet and desktop users is not an easy task. Our creative and development teams worked through a number of technical challenges through our testing phase of the project. The final result is a tour de course of every ingredient that defines the CR’s brand.

If there is one thing that people love to talk about, it’s food. Since CR’s inherited a former restaurant’s space, Altos proactively managed to inherit that restaurant’s social audience as well. By rebranding the former restaurant’s social outlets, a large audience was already in place and anticipating the opening of CR’s. With effective social targeting and email marketing, Altos sates this hungry social audience.
